Featured Cases and Matters:

Client Name: Correa v. Robles
Year: 2014

Secured a $270,000 settlement for a Plaintiff who alleged that a minor-impact rear-end collision aggravated a pre-existing lower back injury and caused radicular pain to her legs, and caused head and neck pain. The defense contested the extent of her injuries and alleged that Plaintiff’s boyfriend, who was driving the plaintiff vehicle, made a sudden, unexpected stop, causing the collision.

Client Name: Leppek v. Phan
Year: 2015

Obtained a $400,000 verdict, with another $100,000 awarded in costs and 998 interest, in a case where the Plaintiff alleged a herniated lumbar disc injury while occupying an oversized Ford F-550. The Plaintiff had a history of back pain, and had even had a surgery to his low back before the subject car crash. The Plaintiff underwent a microdiscectomy surgery weeks before the trial, and had complained of its ineffectiveness. Despite this, the jury saw an injured man, who needed to be compensated for his medical bills, surgery, and pain and suffering.

Client Name: David Paniagua
Year: 2016

Secured a confidential $250,000 settlement for a Plaintiff who was struck by a vehicle while walking across a driveway. The vehicle was moving less than 5 miles per hour. Plaintiff, an elderly man well into his 80’s, had extensive back pains prior to this incident, and complained of very similar pains due to this incident.
