Richard Cummins is licensed to practice law in Michigan, Illinois, and the 6th Circuit United States District Court. He joined the Neumann Law Group as an associate in early 2020. Mr. Cummins earned his B.A. in Business from Michigan State University before earning his Juris Doctor Degree from Wayne State University Law School. In 2013, he earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation at DePaul University School of Law. Mr. Cummins began practicing law as a civil servant in Detroit working as a public defender in the felony division where he honed his skills as a trial lawyer. Since transitioning into private practice over 10 years ago his areas of practice and expertise have expanded considerably; and he now appears in courtrooms throughout the state to litigate state and federal actions. His areas of practice include: Criminal Law, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Personal Injury, Civil Rights Law, Family Law & General Civil and Business Litigation.
